About LifeSG Credits

Using LifeSG credits, you can enroll in Thai language courses, covering conversational skills, and reading. The Thai courses, available online or in-person, enhance understanding of Thai cultures and everyday situations.

LifeSG credits are digital, government-issued credits in Singapore designed to help citizens offset education-related expenses. These credits are automatically credited into the LifeSG mobile app wallet and can be used at participating merchants that accept PayNow UEN QR payments.

In 2025, the Singapore Government introduced LifeSG Credits (CLC) of $500 for each Singapore Citizen child aged 0 to 12, disbursed in July. In addition, Large Family LifeSG Credits (LFLC) of $1,000 per year were introduced for eligible third and subsequent children aged 1 to 6, starting from September 2025. Both credits are fully digital and accessible via the LifeSG app.

Group Learning

Group learning Thai language at Thai Explorer presents an advantageous approach to language acquisition. By fostering an environment conducive to peer interaction and collaboration, learners can practise their Thai language skills in real-time, engaging in diverse conversations and presentations. This learning Thai language format simulates actual social situations, making language learning more pragmatic and context-based. Moreover, learning in a group encourages participants to learn from each other’s mistakes and successes, facilitating a more comprehensive understanding of the Thai language. Also, the Thai language group setting promotes a sense of community, making the learning process more enjoyable and less intimidating.

Our experienced Thai native teachers provide personalised attention, addressing each participant’s Thai learning needs. Group classes enhance peer interactions, with more opportunities to practise and speaking Thai language during class. 7. Our Group Class offers a well-paced class schedule with accessible support to our teachers via WhatsApp and emails.

8. Our Private Class allows for great flexibility in scheduling so students can choose their own date, time and venue for the class without missing any lessons.

9. Eligible Citizens are welcome to use LifeSG Credits for the Thai Beginner course.

Do you have an online Thai class available?

Yes, we have both physical Thai classes and online classes available, students can choose either Thai learning option to attend.

If I choose Physical class, can I still attend Online throughout the course if I cannot come to the centre for class?

Yes, for Physical class students, at any point if you cannot attend in person, feel free to inform the teacher that you will be taking the session as Online via Zoom.

How do I claim my LifeSG Credits for the Thai Language course?

First, after the student indicates which class to attend, our school will email the registration form.
Next, we will prepare the Thai course invoice and have students download the LifeSG App to make a PayNow payment.
After that, students can top up the balance to start class and followed by the collection of the course material

Do the Thai courses provide certification for Thai language proficiency?

Yes, the Thai courses provide certification upon completion, indicating your proficiency in the Thai language. These certificates can be valuable for showcasing your language skills to potential employers or for personal achievement. Check the specific details of the Thai language courses you’re interested in to confirm the certification offered upon successful completion.
